LDS kids with NFL hopes are choosing the U more post P-12?  It does not seem that missionary type kids are choosing the U more than pre-P12. There are a few Utah county exceptions.  The U is definitely getting better non-LDS recruits as a member of the P-5 monopoly.  My point is it seems the U's success is a result of getting better non-LDS kids and getting more of the non-missionary LDS kids.  It does not seem that BYU has declined much with the RM LDS kids.  BYU not being P-5, transition due to mission age change, and normal cycle of success seems to be an explanation for BYU declining.  P-5 clearly helped Utah.
