Many are upset at LDS athletes who commit to BYU just as their fail-safe option
For many BYU fans, that may be because we still adhere to that outmoded idea that your word should mean something.
In this era where the Ten Commandments are often treated as the Ten Suggestions, expecting a verbal commitment to be kept is considered strange by many and they can't understand why fans would get upset.
