Toledo played Murray State, then CO Stage... then BYU.
BYU played USC, then Washington... then Toledo.
BYU doesn't have the depth to play the schedules they have. You are going to get those 50/50 games with a young team that is hurting due to its past games.
If you want a G5 team... schedule like a G5 team. This year's schedule was hard... Next year is even worse.. 2021 is still a meat grinder.
... but yea... Coaching is the solution. Fire everybody... hit the reset button. That will make us a better G5 team like the ones you listed. I'm sure a new coach can take this team past Utah, Michigan, Arizona, Minnesota, USU, Missouri, Huston.. and then get that win at NIU you want.
