I don't think things are where I want them to be either. Much of this is on the coaches and a lot is on the players. That said, constant complaining and whining doesn't improve performance. In fact, it may hurt BYU football — by creating a perception that BYU football ISN'T where recruits, players or coaches want to be.
Although many now pine for the return of Bronco (a very good coach that isn't returning), many fans openly complained about how 'weird' he was, that he didn't win enough games, that he couldn't beat uu.... Could that have help drive him away? Will another coach say, "the fans treated Kalani so well, I'd love to coach at BYU".
In other words, be realistic, but don't be a clown. There is still a lot of seaon left (7-8 games). And what's wrong with unicorns and rainbows.
