than Y grads, and at one time had 8 U grads and no Y grads. They are both good schools with good reputations, especially if the students there perform well. The fact is that there will be more Y grads performing well on grad school entrance exams and with shiny GPAs because of the makeup of the Y's student body, but grad programs and employers are going to look at U grads and Y grads with similar grades and similar test scores similarly. This comes from years of experience living out of state and dealing directly with the subject.
