I can't believe you're doubling down on this. Have you actually attended one of
these elite schools you're saying most BYU students could get into? I have, and what you're saying couldn't be more wrong. No knock on BYU kids - most kids at top 50 schools don't have a prayer at getting into one of these elite schools. Which is why most don't.
Also, undergrad and grad admission at these elite schools are totally different ballgames too. Undergrad admissions at these schools is particularly daunting.
