It does get harder as you get older. I was able to lose the weight with small
modifications to my diet when I was in my 30s. When my divorce hit in my 40s, my stress diet let me lose 30+ pounds. Now I need to lose another 20 and it's getting harder to do at 48. It's like my body decides to slow everything down when the calories drop. I get the calories in minus calories out but it seems that the standing still calories burned seem to drop now.
