The one thing that’s helped me is that continuous exercise helps keep metabolism
Up. I could be wrong but I’ve felt that weight lifting has added muscle and hence increased metabolism even if my calorie count goes down. Not sure if you’ve tried that.

Right now I’m struggling with just getting any exercise because our lives have been turned upside down by those twins.

I now realize why it’s so easy to gain weight when you have kids. There is no time for anything but pantry and kids
