BYU fans aren't the only ones that think the PAC12 is a joke
Go read some national College football boards. P12 opted out of head to head with other conferences this year, so we'll never know how they stack up really. We just have the eye test and the bowl games from last year to see how the Pac12 matches up.
But that is an interesting, if 5-15 counts Utah, then we are actually 5-5 against the rest of the PAC12. That's by definition an average team. Why do we take the Utah losses out? Well we can't, but statistically it is an anomaly. Utah is pretty middle of the road P5, but BYU has underperformed in that series lately.
Our beef is that many say we don't belong in P5 due to on field performance. If that is true then the bottom half of all P5 conferences don't belong either.

Take away Utah and it is 16 of 33. Pretty good for a school that doesn't get P5 recruiting advantages.
