The decade before that BYU won 38.4% (10/26)
2001-2010 BYU won 10/26 (38.4%)
2011-2020 BYU won 16/42 (38.1%)
Realistically looks like BYU has stayed close to the same level, but has added more games against higher competition. It's interesting to see the effect, especially when you consider that from 2001-2010 BYU finished ranked 5 times in the AP poll (12,14,16,25,25) and higher than that every time in the coaches. Since they went independent (and lost more total games, albeit at the same rate against P5s) BYU has only finished the season ranked once (#25 AP, not ranked in coaches poll). Even that ranking was in 2011, before the schedule had really added quality games.

Take away Utah and it is 16 of 33. Pretty good for a school that doesn't get P5 recruiting advantages.
