A girl in our ward who babysat a lot for us.
This is now probably 20-30 years ago in Gilbert. Family in our ward that lived around the corner from us. Their oldest daughter babysat for us. And their other kids were same ages as ours so we became good friends.
In her young adult years she had fallen away from the Church. Met a guy (loser). Became pregnant but decided to leave loser (and return to activity in the Church).
Loser murdered her (unborn baby also died) as she left work one day (and then committed suicide).
That was a tough funeral to go to.

Yes, my grandpa was shot in middle of day outside a bank for a measly $400 he had just withdrawn by complete stranger.
