It’s absolutely an issue to deal with. On that we agree. People act like BYU
has some sort of character flaw because of it though.
We can put up with covering up murder and rapes and even fostering a culture where that sort of thing happens, but we can’t work around a scheduling issue?
The scheduling would pose the largest problem when it comes to conference championship tournaments. Some of those aren’t held on Sunday anyway. Even in the P5 leagues.
The regular season would only have to be adjusted for each team on the week they play BYU. They’d all be able to have all the Sunday games they want on other weeks.
