I guess it depends on your use. For me it makes a lot of sense and I can't wait
To get one. My gas prices are high and electricity is insanely low.
I do 95% of my driving around town so I would almost never need to charge at home.
The few times I need to run to the airport or neighboring town it is within range that I most likely would not need to charge.
I could probably drive a year and only need to hit an external charger 2 or 3 times max.
I just wish used car prices hadn't surged these last couple years or else I would already own a Tesla.

Depreciation isn't normal on cars right now though. You could take possession of a new Tesla and turn around and sell

8 years or 100k whatever comes first. And yes real life expectancy is looking closer to 300k or 400k.
