Was not nearly what i expected.
I ended up charging 3 times on a 5 hour drive (adding 1.5 hr) just because I didn’t think I would make it.
So it’s not just stopping to charge. It’s trying to plan out if you can make it about 100 miles until the next charger without really being out of luck
This while you’re not getting accurate miles due to weather, highway speeds, heater/AC.
My fully charged vehicle said 258 miles, but i wasn’t able to reliably make it 155 miles to the midpoint charger (so I stopped 40 min in). This was after I decided not to use my heater since just turning on my heater took my miles from 258 to 206. Full blast heater/defrost dropped it from 258 to 186 miles.
Non-Tesla.. Which is why I would only do Tesla as well
