It wasn’t a one day thing for me.

My dealer wasn’t very easy to deal with and wouldn’t communicate well with what they were actually doing/updating and were in zero rush to get the car back.

I would also get the “pull over right away” type alerts in which case I would call them and they would go “oh yea that’s not an important one or that’s just a glitch”.. so definitely some first model tech issues.

I opted to not really even try optimizing the tech stuff as I found it was causing my aggravation.. partly because I’m an idiot as well.

I believe the heat pump came standard with the performance battery I upgraded too and I don’t recall that additional option available. But perhaps I missed the boat on that.
