5 games? I don't think so. Utah finishing the regular season at #5 is a huge indicator

that the perception of the conference was still pretty strong. Utah was ahead of every other 1-loss program at the time, outside of the SEC.

In fact, this year Utah finished ahead of all other 4-loss teams and even ahead of all 3-loss teams outside the SEC.

For a small school with minimal history...that's a sign that those who follow CFB closely still value the P12.
