I mean seriously, Nazis? It's not the same thing, but for a different reason than you're probably implying. It's not the same thing because the people the Nazis brutalized did nothing wrong. However, almost every single person who has a negative interaction with a towing company initiated the interaction by doing something wrong. And, almost every single person who parks illegally knows what the potential consequence is for parking illegally. Anyone who has spent any time in Provo knows what happens to illegal parkers, and there are signs everywhere, and most BYU students are literate. There are certainly times people are booted or towed when they really weren't breaking any rules, but they're the minority.

The entitled attitude is ridiculous. It's really, really, really easy to never get towed or booted. Just park legally. I should say something about being able to pick actions not consequences...
