Jesus doesn't forgive the woman taken in adultery, but does not condemn her and tells her to sin no more. Sometimes forgiveness takes time which is the case with the woman taken in adultery. I think the concept you're describing is nearly the same that he doesn't condemn her like the honor code investigation might.
