Excellent post. I too have largely stayed out of this discussion the past few weeks while I process all that is going on... I feel I share your sentiments most closely.
Thoughts and questions:
1. What requirements are there to work in the HCO? I'd hope a background in psychology at the very least.
2. If rape is found to be a factor or precursor of behavior that is in violation of the HC, what steps SHOULD the HCO take? Send it back to title IX? To their bishop? I don't believe that rape victims should go to find relief at the HCO, EVEN IF they reform it. Helping victims recover doesn't quit seem to fit their purpose.
