I haven't really thought this one out yet and just started reading the professor article on the numbers so i don't really have too much of an opinion as of now but it definitely needs to be addressed ad you raise a good point. I can see the problem with false accusations as well. One of my roommates had a bat crazy girl that he had made out with but then decided not to date. She started telling her roommates that he raped her, and did all these other things and was threatening to go to the HCO. Fortunately she didn't, and her claims were outrageously false and she had a lot of other problems going on such as flunking out of some of her classes and other things. I can only imagine what his life would have been like if she had him dragged into the office for false claims, and then because of perceived callousness to women for rape by BYU, the institution had to seriously investigate him and take action.
