You correctly state, "Rape differs from other honor code related things in that it is often a life altering experience for the victims" but fail to state that it is just as true for someone falsely accused of rape.

As one who has see it first hand and second hand - one of the ways woman who have been mistreated my men includeing raped - seek to regain control is by accusing men of terrible acts including rape and child abuse. This angers me a great deal because first it again victimizes the women who truly have suffer these horrible crimes and second even when a wrongly accused man has been exonerated the stench of the accusation never clears.
