What's the deal with all the recruit poaching accusations
that come up on here every time Utah and BYU go after the same recruit? Ok, I get it, often Utah will swoop in and try and get guys that BYU has recruited....but isn't that the name of the game? Don't other schools (other rival schools, if you will) compete in the same way for recruits? The way I see it is that as long as people are following NCAA rules, then what's there to complain about? It seems like if a guy was good enough to get recruited by your school then it shows you that the recruit is worth something if other schools go after him.

I also find it a tad ironic coming from fans of a school that caused the NCAA to make a "Riley Nelson Rule" in order to prevent them from poaching other schools' recruits while they were on their missions.
