Here's a meaningful difference:
His direct response to your post was from a pro-BYU point of view while yours was whiny and anti-BYU . . . on a BYU fan site.

How does that not apply to your original post?
And for the record, I'd agree with just about everything he said. Utah has certainly done some slimy things in the past. And I'm inclined to believe they have deliberately lied to recruits: "Sure, we'll let you play QB if you want. Oh, you're stuck with us now? Yeah, that's not going to happen. Here's your defensive playbook." You think recruits shouldn't take the incidents he cites and alludes to into consideration? Specifically which of his assertions are you denying? Which did he make up "in his head"?
Furthermore, it is certainly merely an opinion that BYU "poached" Nelson and that BYU is responsible for the rule. What is fact is that BYU does not actively recruit missionaries and that he reached out to BYU and expressed interest in transferring. It is also fact that the Riley Nelson rule is known as the Riley Nelson rule and not the BYU rule. It's called the Riley Nelson rule because the rule has everything to do with him and his choice (and USU's whiny response to it). It has nothing to do with where he went other than USU's biases against his particular choice. He could just as easily have chosen any other school.
