What you described in this thread is typical first grade bad kid behavior. We have labeled it bullying, but honestly this is probably just a punk kid.
In the future, telling the teacher might also result in kids labeling your child as a tattletale and then joining forces against her and isolating her even further. Don’t get me wrong, bullying shouldn’t be tolerated and physical pushing should never be OK. That’s not what I’m saying. But you need to focus on helping your daughter handle these types of people and not relying on mom and dad to fix everything.
