I wouldn't over-estimate what the teacher can actually do
You should be dealing directly with the principal, or even the school board. Your teacher doesn't really have any authority when it comes to the parents. All she can really do is say "pretty please". Don't waste more time waiting for the teacher to do something she hasn't the authority to do.
