they were VERY thick and made my eyes huge (extremely far sighted). Needless to say, boys especially are ruthless with stuff like that. One kid in particular targeted me from 1st til 8th grade. Kicked me in the face in soccer one time, several fights and constantly making fun of me. One class in jr high he would sit behind me and flick my ear over and over until it was red and almost bleeding.

Looking back, I'm glad that I had to deal with it and I'm a better more compassionate person because of it. The specific bully from above had a jacked up home life with an abusive father and an overwhelmed mom. By the time I graduated high school I had figured it all out and I was much stronger from it.
