Good post. I guess my only clarification on refs is that there’s a difference
between booing/arguing calls and blaming those bad calls for the outcome of the game. I was a coach. Yes, bad calls happen all the time and they’re frustrating. They rarely affect the outcome. Saying that the loss was due to refs undercuts the efforts of the players from both teams. All teams have some fans that will do that, SMC included. But the ratio of those fans on this board is unusually high compared to any other board I’ve been on. That’s all.
