Tired of hearing how bad BYU fans are. Do they boo more than a typical fan base? Yeah. I don't love that. I tend to pick and choose when I go after refs, but there are fans that seem to go after EVERYTHING and are extremely subjective. Every fan base has them, BYU seems to have more of them. But I lived in Walnut Creek for seven years, and been to many games at your little high school gym. You can't tell me you don't have rude and disrespectful fans. I've heard plenty of bad stuff from SMC fans over the years. Every fan base has them. Little Saint Marys just wasn't used to a large fan base, other than their Big Brother - the Zag fan base. At least Cougars aren't throwing beer on you and swearing in front of your kids.

The absolute irony of your post is that absolutely NO ONE WHINES MORE TO REFS THAN YOUR HEAD COACH. He's the dude behind you that literally whines after every call that goes against his team! That is the reason for the Bennett hate. Personally, I think he's one of the best coaches in the country... does the most with the least.

It is literally one of the worst officiated basketball games that I've ever seen. I could point out so many examples of bad calls, but that would be a waste of my time. So nice revisionist history... The trash-throwing accusation is true, though.. and it is BAD. It hardly ever happens at the MC, but that's no excuse.. very poor moment there for Cougar fans.

I won't miss SMC, I'll look forward to your team drifting back into irrelevance, though. Bye.
