Part of the problem, I think, was the expectation that BYU would at a minimum be playing 2nd fiddle to Gonzaga. But instead, more often than not, we were in third. Even in years where I still believe we had more talent, you guys found a way to beat us, it was supremely annoying year after year.

You’ve also had some players over the years that we love to hate - Dellavedova.

Truthfully, the complaining about the WCC is not a good look from BYU fans. We should show much more appreciation and gratitude than we do for our time in the WCC. But if we are being honest, outside of you guys and Gonzaga, the competition and fan support for basketball has sucked in the WCC until the last few years where it seems a few of the other schools have upped their game. Whether or not you will acknowledge it, BYU has had a significant positive impact on the WCC in that regard. You’re welcome.

Also, I’m guessing if any of us had enough interest to peruse a St Mary’s fan site, we’d pretty easily find plenty of bad behavior.

Good luck to you guys moving forward. Maybe at some point you can schedule some better out of conference road games so you’ll be a little more battle tested and can make it out of the 1st round of the big dance.
