you have. SMC is the one school that frustrates me in the WCC with their gym. Most schools have either historic (USF) is appropriately nice (GU, SCU) but SMC's gym is just lame. Don't have a wall behind the backboard. Build the program like Gonzaga has built their program. Right now SMC has done nothing to build a program but have a very loyal and great coach. Without Bennet SMC is nothing. If Few retired tomorrow the Zags would survive. They built a program and gathered the resources to deserve to be called a national power.

As far as not liking SMC, most of it is general fan dislike because you guys look nerdier even than BYU but beat us too often. Bennet is a crafty coach, which makes him annoying to opposing fans. One thing he does though that needs to stop, is he steps into the court during games. Sometimes it's just a few inches, but it's enough to limit floor space while the other team is in offense. If you've never noticed, go back and watch. He's sometimes 2 feet out on the court. And he never gets called for it. He's a great coach. He forgets more about basketball every day than I've ever known. And that's why I think he does this in purpose. He kno s what he's doing, and he knows that he gets away with it.
