A game against a P12 team is not weighted above a game over a MWC team just because there is a "P12" attached to it. It's the actual results and then common opponents down the line that are compared. You seriously think that these end-of-year formulas are starting off with a presumption of superiority for certain conferences or teams? That's not how it works; the formulas are blind as to teams or conferences. All the computer knows is how every team performed against all of the other teams.
