LOL, BYU went undefeated vs the PAC and beat Utah (conf. champ) the same year.
And comparing a PAC12 conference champion vs a BIG12 conf. champion are two different achievements.
The BIG12 conference champ went to the championship game, how did the PAC12 champ fair? Oh yeah, they lost to the 3rd best B1G team.
Please don't forget that both years Utah won the PAC12 it was the weakest conference of all the P5 conferences and even had a losing record to the MWC one year.
Again, Utah received so much praise for winning the weakest conference and getting trucked in their bowl game.
Congrats to the Utes! Well deserved I guess.
