That Big East invite came as the result of the BIGXII...

taking TCU And then West Virginia... by all accounts, BYU was at the negotiating table with the BIGXII before TCU And West Virginia was even a thought. BYU back away our of fear... the rest is history.

I truly believe that Holmoe and those in charge completely blew that opportunity. It will go down as the biggest mistake in BYU athletic history.
