TBH, most of our issues are simple enough that an MD is not necessary. NPs and

PAs can effectively treat most problems without a doctor. In some states NPs can work independent of a doctor for primary care. From everything I can read, other than legislative differences from state to state, CRNAs can do everything that an anesthesiologist can do. Even though it is a specialty, it is narrow enough that I cannot find a practical benefit of med school, so long as the provider can perform procedures safely and effectively.
