TailgateU Walk-on
I'm in academia and have done some research into the health industry, but my

opinion is primarily from having known people who work as both anesthesiologists and CRNAs. My understanding is that for surguries, deliveries, and the standard work of administering anesthesia, there is not practical difference. That's why I was asking the question. If there is a difference I would legitimately like to know.

As for NPs and PAs, I've taken in enough sick kids to know that a PA or NP is perfectly qualified for day-to-day medical care, and they don't ask the doc for help.
