Bronco by far had the strongest group of players to work with when he came in....
Even he said that he basically was coaching mindset more than football, because the players already had all the talent to succeed.
Sitake got a gimpy Taysom, who was not nearly the same as he was his first 2 years... he got a QB in Mangum that could never fully grasp the offense... Sitake was tasked with taking Detmer as an OC, which resulted in a terrible offensive staff... that decision was more on Holmoe and less on Sitake. If anything, Holmoe owes Sitake another year because of that decision alone.
