It seems like the cupboard was bare for Kalani because he used it so poorly
It’s like saying the cupboard was bare for Jeff Fisher with the Rams because his teams were so terrible. Then comes along Sean McVay and suddenly a guy like Todd Gurley isn’t averaging 3.2 YPC any more. It’s amazing what a good coach can do.
There were a number of players who regressed from good under Bronco to meh under Kalani. The 2017 season speaks for itself. 2018 was meh. This is a big year for Kalani. Can he get us back to where Bronco generally had us or are we stuck a step or two behind?
