Consider too that the AAC's new TV deal is something like 7 mil a year. Thats
close to what BYU gets now. The issues I see are what happens with Olympic sports etc and the ESPN deal that was just inked.
Truth is, BYU needs to be in the Big12 or Pac12 (which I believe will never happen), past that there are a number of not great options. But of those not great options, I think the AAC makes the most sense under an 8 team playoff.
