Play mostly PAC and MWC teams in the non-conference.
BYU's annual schedule would likely look something like this:
HOME: in Provo
AWAY games in:
- California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, or the Northwest
- SLC or Logan, Utah
- Eastern Timezone (FL, NC, OH, PA, MD, TN)
- Louisiana or Oklahoma
- Texas
- Idaho or California
That's 7 or 8 games in the Mountain timezone; 1 or 2 games in the Pacific timezone; 2 games in the Central timezone and 1 game in the Eastern timezone.
That's probably better than many independent schedules...but still gets the team to each part of the country every so often.
