My wife will likely get the virus as she directly takes care of Covid patients
I imagine it's only a matter of time. I hope she doesn't die or any of my family. We will decide what risks we are willing to take. Our extended family knows this and can decide whether they want to associate. I have a couple of hypochondriac-type SILs. We are staying away from them. We have also stayed away from all older relatives, except my in-laws (my wife and them don't seem to care and I'm just not the controlling type of husband but maybe I should be?)
I have only left my house/property maybe 3 times in the past 3 weeks because I think it's a prudent decision (but that is my personal decision).
