I thought I heard somewhere that hospitals are supposed to state the
charge upfront? Not sure if that's true, and when that's expected to start.

That's all great and everything, but if you're going to the ER, it's not like you're gonna be researching and calling around for the best price, you're just going to go to the nearest hospital most likely.

I get there will be major downfalls to nationalized medicine, but whatever it is we are doing is completely nonsensical and unethical.
