The very nice registration person told us our estimated cost when I took my son to the ER a couple weeks ago. I paid the
$900 right then that the computer said it estimated we would owe. Since then I've paid over another 2K in bills that arrived to my house.
I HATE how stupid medical billing is. I mean I totally understand the complexities and WHY it is as awful as it is but I also know that the system doesn't NEED to be this awful.
