Live in St George, son stepped on a sawed off end of a large bolt...

...ten days ago at a friends house. Took 9 stitches to close, but nothing crazy, no meds, no stay in hospital etc. Got the bill. $2,800 is our portion. Night clinic, not ER. I work in medical equipment sales. I tell everyone that will listen that our system is broken and broken badly. Called and went over the bill with the office. Still cannot believe 9 stitches costs $2,800 in todays world.
