Our boys have them, we just limit the apps they can get. We like some of the features of the smartphone.

Don't want to give those up honestly. Find My Friends is great. So the phone is part of it, but the Apps are the real issue in many cases. So that is where the battle line has been drawn now. So far no problems with our 15 year old. 12 year old doesn't have his own phone yet.

WE learned the hard way with our girls it is the Apps.
