If you watched the games this year you'd notice that when KC was not on the floor, our offense was completely stagnant. The reason KC gets all those assists is because he drives in and consequently the defense collapses on him because they have to in order to stop him. If he would drive in and dish every time, they wouldn't collapse, and it wouldn't work. So his offensive efficiency was poor because he would drive in, take a lot of low percentage shots, but would also get a lot of offensive rebounds on those shots, and it would create a lot of opportunities for his teammates to shine. KC just made all of his teammates better.
