No other player would have performed as well in KC's role
It is the same reason why KD, despite being a bad free throw shooter and overall shooting a lower FG% than Kaufusi and Austin, was asked to do more and to play more minutes than the other two.
Kaufusi shined in the role he played, but he could not have done the same if given KD's role (primary post scorer). Neither could Nate Austin, despite also shooting a higher overall percentage on the year.
