BYU fans reaction:
That is shameful and unacceptable. They are/were shocked, appalled, and disappointed that ANYONE, especially BYU fans would treat anyone this way. If you look at this board when that news was made public, there were not excused, denials, or anything... it was shock, embarrassment and disgust that BYU fans would treat him like that.
Utah Fans reaction to these incidents:
Denial -- "There is no Beer In RES" "I have never seen it."
Disassociation-- "I didn't throw the ice" "I am LDS and Don't even drink"
Distraction-- "BYU fan's aren't perfect" "All rivalries get heated"
