I agree with you, I really do. You're not understanding what I said at all.
First off, I don't believe that there were people blowing marijuana smoke in little kids faces.. and if it happened, it certainly wasn't deliberate as the post is making it sound.
The part of the post that caused me to ever say anything was the end.. about how you can claim to be a member and support the school.
Yes, all of the stuff you said is unacceptable and it shouldn't happen. I think that most everyone (including 98% of Utah's fanbase) would agree with that. But to say you can't be a good member of the church and be a fan of Utah football is just stupid.
What I was trying to say is that if you look hard enough, there is filth and things around in almost every fanbase around the country. Members of the church have to stand up for what they believe in yes, but if we showed no support to anything that we see that takes part in those unacceptable activities, then members of the church would be a lonely, lonely group.
Should someone have stood up and said something to the smoke blowers? Absolutely, but just because nobody did, that doesn't mean that they can't be a good member of the church.
