I think a lot of people in the MWC and around view
BYU and Boise State, like the Big 12 views Mizzou. All 3 teams were relatively successful, however for some reason or the previously affiliated conferences felt betrayed, and other teams felt they had to bend over backwards for those schools. (ie Blue Shoes on the Blue turf)

In the case of Boise and Mizzou it is definitely more justified. I'm going to be glad when Boise realizes that West V, and all the relevant football teams have left/ have their foot out the door from the Big East... and be the happiest person in the world when M-I-Z-Z-O-POO gets destroyed by LSU, Bama, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia.

I think the lash out against BYU is a little short sited and less justified. Boise in Mizzou used leaving as leverage to get whatever the freak they wanted, acted like they might not, got what they wanted, and left anyway. Where as we said what we were going to do, and did it from the get go. We also didn't leave and then start flipping off our roots. Boise left the WAC, will leave the MWC, and never look back at the schools that are right next to them. Same with Utah, and except for the things prophesied about "Missourah" that whole state can just kiss off. I'm everything that state hates, jayhawk, mormon, brown, not homophobic... When we left (as an institution) we didn't have a holier than thou attitude about leaving. We just did what is best for our program.

I think a lot of the reason people have something against BYU has more to do with political, social and ideology/ jealousy of us having fans close enough to every game that we can have a vocal crowd at every away game. I guess there could be other reasons people dislike BYU,

Other schools have been classy about leaving too. I know most of my friends who root for the MWC wish nothing but the best of luck to TCU. Unfortunately the same isn't said about SDSU or Boise.
