Serious question:
I get slandered for my politics ALL the time here on CB. We are talking: incessantly, even when I am not part of the conversation. To you, is that more, less or the same as being on the receiving end of similar remarks against your religion? I get that legally, we DO treat these issue differently but lets forget legal for a second.

Do you care that the majority of CB members speak so biased against Democrats, liberals and progressives? There is a thread right now calling them stupid, evil, and a few other things.

Or is it just the religious angle that is bad?

The reason I ask this is you specifically point out "getting beer thrown on you" (and I agree, no one should experience that) but then also "religious slander" (....sticks and stones? just words? just as bad as the insults a Mormon tosses towards a non Mormon?).

I am not asking you to skewer you; I can see why one might be okay, and the other not. But wondering where you stand on it.
